Regular Monthly Meeting

Jeff Adams called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM

 

Attendees: Jeff Adams, Tim Keleher, Buck Palmer, Jodi Gorenberg, Tracey Hoffman, Jason Gallagher, Seth Mirowitz, Myra Ortega, Linda Collazo

 Approval of minutes from April 2024 meeting.

 

Music Report​

• Symphonic Band attended the Music in the Parks festival and earned second place with a Superior rating.
• Bands Concert held May 1; Orchestra and Jazz concert held May 2.
• Choral Concert scheduled for May 23.
• Beck Middle school 7th and 8th grade reach out scheduled for 5/31.
• Senior Solo Night scheduled for June 6.
• Symphony Orchestra and Choir will be performing at graduation on June 14.
• In-school Marching Band meetings have begun.
• MB Parent Meeting scheduled for 5/29 with a push to seek an earlier commitment.

Membership/Treasurer Reports

• New memberships: 1 Silver Membership

• Cash donations: $x

• Spring program ad and Shout Out revenue $xxx

• Scholarships to be awarded to 6 students.

• Scholarship winners to be determined by music department staff and communicated to graduation programming staff.
